This issue of Outskirts is devoted to reproducing some of the papers that were presented at a one-day Feminist Seminar for post-graduate students, "Re-Searching Women", held at Murdoch University in Perth on August 20, 1999. The Seminar was organised and conducted by the Centre for Research for Women, an inter-university Western Australian feminist research Centre. The Centre is currently based at Edith Cowan University. We thank the participants who made their papers available to us for this publication.
