Papers are invited for a thematic issue of Outskirts: Feminisms Along the Edge which will feature current theory, practice and pedagogy of Fictocriticism. Fictocriticism has been claimed as an Australian/Canadian method of writing this is decidedly feminist/postmodern in its origins, ethics, practices. Sprung fully formed in the 1970s/80s, what are writers/academics doing with fictocriticism now? How feminist is it (has its feminism changed)? How is it being taught? Who practices it? The issue aims to canvass a range of articles which survey, engage with or mobilise fictocritical strategies, theories and methodologies. It also welcomes unrefereed contributions of current curricula and commentary on teaching Fictocriticism. For all submissions and enquires please contact the editor, Alison Bartlett on bartlett@arts.uwa.edu.au Submissions will be due before the end of January 2009. The issue will be published May 2009. |
