Outskirts: feminisms along the edge is a feminist cultural studies journal published online twice yearly in May and November. It provides a space in which new and challenging critical material from a range of disciplinary perspectives and addressing a range of feminist topics and issues are brought together to discuss and contest contemporary and historical issues involving women and feminisms.

Submissions are welcome from all feminist researchers; in particular we encourage postgaduate researchers and emerging scholars to publish with Outskirts.

Outskirts is produced through the discipline of Women's Studies at the University of Western Australia. It is supported by a group of Editorial Consultants, and through the independepent academic referees who generously give their time and expertise.
